Just completed a new horror novel called Hell Rig. It's
set on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico between
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Lots of voodoo, zombies,
angry Loas and grizzly deaths. I like it. I need to do a bit
of editing before sending it out.
Ye'iitsoh: Night of the Blood Beast is already making
the rounds. I did a bit of editing and will send it to a few
more publishers soon.
I decided to re-edit Occam's Razor per some good
advice I received in a rejection letter and send it back
out. Pools of Yarah and Children of Yarah are ready to
go, as is a thriller called the Tenth Plague.
I've been busy.
Kim and went to my hometown in Mississippi recently.
I hate flying but it ws good to see my family. My brother
and nephew moved back there from Chicago so I guess
I'll see them more often.
Musically, we've been quiet. We're looking for a new
drummer. Should have one tomorrow night abd get
started again. I miss playing.
Getting ready for Tuscon'35 in Tucson this November.
I'll have a table to sell a few books. It's always good to
meet old friends and make some new ones. I always
manage to learn something that helps my writing
career.
See you guys later.

A few things happening. Went to the dentist and got my
new partial plates to replace a few missing teeth.
They're hard to get used to, especially singing. I'm
afraid I'll shoot them across the stage.
Headed to my mother's in Mississippi next weekend. It
will be good to see family. My brother just moved to
Mississippi after about forty years in Chicago. It's got to
be weird for him.
Spent a week in Detroit last month for my
mother-in-law's 75th birthday. KIm and I catered a party
for 100 people. It was exhausting work but went well.
We received a ton of compliments.
Brad Harris Band has been off the club scene for a
while working up 15-16 new songs to keep us fresh. We
have a few gigs lined up and are looking for more.
Hell Rig is going well. Almost finished. I think it is my
best effort so far. Hope to get it to publishers soon and
move on to a new novel.
More later.
